Hyacinth Jan Bos

An early flowering Hyacinth with single, rich cerise-red flowers that are sweetly scented. Easily grown in containers and great mixed with other spring flowering bulbs.

Site: Best protected from wind
Position: Sun or partial shade
Soils: Well-drained, fertile, humus-rich soil. Avoid excessive winter wet.
Planting Period: September to November
Flowering Period: Can flower by xmas if kept indoors or Jan – Feb outdoors
Planting: Depth 6″ (15 cm) Spacing 6-8” (15 – 20 cm)
Height: 12″ (30cm)
