Purple Osier Willow
A beautiful willow, planted for centuries for its exceptionally pliable stems, harvested to make the finest of baskets; also a nice addition to an ornamental garden for its year round interest, including its lightly coloured blue-grey leaves and small, delicate catkins. Never grazed by wildlife as it is so high in tannin.
