Schizophragma hydrangeoides Roseum – Japanese Hydrangea Vine
A vigorous, deciduous, woody shrub, the Hydrangea Vine has broad heart-shaped leaves and climbs walls or tree-trunks with aerial roots. This variety, ‘Roseum’, has typical lacecap hydrangea type flowers, flat clusters of cream flowers surrounded by a fringe of larger petals that age to rosy pink. As a woodland plant it appreciates plenty of organic matter in the soil
