Golden Clematis

A very vigorous deciduous climber, Clematis tangutica bears single, lantern shaped, golden-yellow flowers in late summer to autumn. The foliage is bright green with coarsely toothed navided leaves. It carries profuse silky seed heads from autumn through to winter.

Position: Full sun or light shade
Soils: Moist, well-drained
Flowering Period: Late summer
Hardiness: Fully hardy in Ireland
Size: Can reach 15 – 20 ft
