The current flag of Kazakhstan was adopted on June 4, 1992. The pattern represents the art and cultural traditions of the old khanate and the Kazakh people. A more modern interpretation is that the sky blue background stands for Kazakhstan’s broad skies, and for freedom. The golden eagle is associated with the empire of Genghis Khan. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4″x6″ size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
NOTE: Indoor flags are made-to-order, so please allow 2-3 days before your order will ship if you order an indoor flag.
