The Flag of North Korea was adopted on September 8, 1948, as the national flag and ensign. The famous red star of Communism can be seen on this flag on a white disk, which may relate to the yin yang symbol, which is a symbol used in Korean culture. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4″x6″ size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
