Searles Conguard Garden Insecticide 1L RTU (Imidacloprid)

Conguard RTU gives 3-4 weeks residual control of aphids, lace bug, mealybug, pysllids, hibiscus beetle, scales and thrips. This highly effective product is great for use on shrubs, pot plants, ornamentals, roses, stone fruit and vegetables.

Conguard RTU is a systemic and contact spray that is designed to kill pests both on contact and systemically via plant saps. When spraying affected plants, spray pests on the top and undersides of leaves for greater control.

Active Constituents: 0.125 g/L Imidacloprid.

HOW TO USE:  DO NOT spray if it is raining or about to rain.
 DO NOT spray when soil is dry and plants are suffering from moisture stress.

How to Apply to

• Roses,
• Shrubs, plants and ornamental trees including non-bearing and ornamental citrus.
• Peach, plum, nectarine and apricot and other stone fruit fruit, capsicum, zucchinis, melons and other cucurbits, egg plant, potatoes, tomatoes.      

To Treat:

Aphids, Azalea lace bug, Greenhouse thrips, Hibiscus flower beetle, Mealybugs, Psyllids, Sap-sucking bugs (including bronze orange bug), Soft scales. Green peach aphid.

Instructions:

Spray foliage thoroughly when insects are first seen or  if insects re-appear. Spray underneath the leaves to kill pests which may be hiding out of sight. For hibiscus flower beetle, spray buds and flowers as needed. For longtailed mealybug, apply 3 sprays 2 weeks apart. For psyllids, spray at first sign and then a week later. For soft scales, spray in late spring or when small scales are first seen. Apply 3 sprays 2 weeks apart. For best results, spray in the morning when there is little or no wind and little direct heat from the sun.  Avoid spraying blooms or flowers in full sun as slight petal marking may occur.

 DO NOT spray if bees are feeding on flowering plants. Will kill bees.
