The flag of Vanuatu was adopted on February 13, 1980.When the Vanuaaku Party led the country to independence as Vanuatu in 1980, the colors of the party flag – red, green, black and yellow – were chosen to be the basis for the national flag. A parliamentary committee chose the final design based on submissions from local artists. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4″x6″ size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
NOTE: Indoor flags are made-to-order, so please allow 2-3 days before your order will ship if you order an indoor flag.
