The National flag of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is called “Red flag with Yellow star”. This flag was adopted as the National flag of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam) on November 30, 1955. It became the flag of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam following reunification with South Vietnam on July 2, 1976. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4″x6″ size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Also available below is a Waterproof Vinyl Decal (suitable for outdoor use).   Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
