The national flag of Wales is The Red Dragon (Welsh: Y Ddraig Goch). It consists of a red dragon, passant, on a green and white field. As with any heraldic charge, the exact representation of the dragon is not standardized and many different interpretations exist. The flag was granted official status in 1959 Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4″x6″ size is mounted to a staff with a spear top.
Indoor Wales flags with a pole sleeve and gold fringe are also available, along with Vinyl Decals (suitable for outdoor use), Embroidered Patches and 1″x1 ½” stickers printed on paper stock. Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags.
